(Arriving in Shanghai)

I'm in Shanghai. I slept 13h after reaching the hostel. No tourist information at the airport. I mean there is quite a number of them even, each one aggressively promoting their own hotel and their own cab. Subway here is all right, internet as well. I can't see my blog (they've censored blogspot), I'm allowed to write though :). People don't appear to be overstreching themselves to be friendly and are definitely digging deep into the tourist's pocket. I think I could use a book-type city guide here. There's a problem with that as well. Lonely Planet does not recognize Taiwan as part of China and thus is illegal. I'll try to find one anyway and then will do my best not to have it confiscated. [...] As I mentioned already, this is not a holiday trip...

Jestem w Szanghaju. Po dotarciu do hostelu spalem 13 godzin. Na lotnisku nie ma informacji turystycznej. To znaczy jest, nawet duzo, kazda polecajaca swoj hotel i swoja taksowke. Metro daje rade, internet generalnie tez. Bloga nie moge obejrzec- blogspot jest ocenzurowany Moge za to pisac :) Ludzie juz sie tak nie klaniaja i raczej intensywnie zagladaja do kieszeni turysty, mysle ze bede potrzebowal ksiazkowego przewodnika. Tu tez problem. Lonely Planet nie uznaje Taiwanu za czesc Chin- jest zatem nielegalny. Mimo to sprobuje poszukac, a pozniej nie dac sobie zabrac. Podobno Shanghai i tak jest zdecydowanie "najlatwiejszy" i najbardziej zachodni ze wszystkiego. Co pozniej? Chyba Beijing, ale nie wiem nic na pewno. Jak juz pisalem, to nie sa wakacje.
